Skeena (Shanghai) Construction Technology Co., Ltd., known as Skeena Home, was established in 2023. We are an innovative construction company capable of developing, designing, and manufacturing high-standard, integrated buildings independently. Skeena Home was founded amid growing global concern about carbon emissions. Currently, more than 98% of homes in China are constructed using high-energy-consuming, high-carbon-emitting reinforced concrete. Low-carbon, eco-friendly timber structures are therefore of great strategic importance (Fig. 1).
Skeena Home is dedicated to becoming a pioneer in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices within the Chinese housing industry. Our motto, "Human-centered architecture supports quality life", reflects our commitment to creating integrated timber-structure housing products for the Chinese market.
Our expert designers operate in Shanghai, Chongqing, Ningbo, and other cities, gaining a deep understanding of the geography, climate, and culture of each region across the country. This knowledge enables us to create innovative housing products tailored to our customers' needs.
Skeena Home's integrated housing is comparable in quality to detached houses and townhouses found in the U.S., Canada, Japan, and Europe. We have adopted advanced North American building technology while adhering to Chinese national engineering codes.
Skeena Home offers integrated housing in three structural types: light wood frame, part light wood frame/part glulam, and full glulam. Exterior walls, windows, doors, air-conditioning, and interior design are all customizable.
Full prefabrication enables rapid construction while ensuring attractiveness, practicality, and reliability. Our products meet international standards for physical performance and living comfort. We prioritize safety, eco-friendliness, energy efficiency, and comfort in material sourcing, component manufacturing, construction, and installation.
In 2025, we completed and opened our first integrated housing show home to visitors in Fengshan Village, Ninghai County, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province (Fig. 2-6).
